No one would've taken into consideration the religious minority in Pakistan that have been religiously "persecuted" for their different beliefs. Some wouldn't have even recognized the existence of the minorities in such a Muslim - central country. Surprisingly, the victims of the brutal treatment evident in Pakistan are the Hindus, who were considered to be long enemies by the Muslims ever since the conflict over Kashmir. Due to such past relationships, the Hindus who have housed themselves in Pakistan shudder in fear of abduction, rape, and forced conversion.
"No one listens to the Hindu in Pakistan. We have no security." Like this, the Hindus have been bereft of their basic rights as well as security in their own houses. Over 100 Hindu children in Pakistan have been abducted to be exposed to dangers consisting of rape, forced marriage, as well as forced conversion to Islam. About 3.5 million Hindus in Pakistan have an uncertain future, and the fact that so many are unaware about this makes the issue even more dramatic. The Hindus, who have been a part of Pakistan for many generations as legal and proper citizens, are targeted for one reason; their religion.
The minority Hindus, due to lack of power in Pakistan, are also taken advantage of in financial terms. Taking Hindus as hostages, Muslims have requested huge ransom to the hostages' relatives, worsening the financial situations of Hindus in Pakistan. Such difficulties ultimately resulted in further isolation and degradation of power of Hindus in Pakistan, making them more prone to such dangers of forced conversion.
Many Hindus are attempting to flee from Pakistan to India, but such process is not so easy as Hindus' rights are not respected in the first place. Also, most Hindus are financially not so able in Korea, which serves as a great hinderance for most Hindus who wish to move to India where they can practice their religion freely. A solution would definitely be needed in order to target this rising issue.
